I have always found Dr Kimber to be disinterested and dismissive and when asked questions his answers are rambled and difficult to hear or understand, I am going to request a change of consultant as I have a progressive disease (Parkinsons) and the thought of my continuing care under Dr Kimber isn’t very reassuring. A constructive suggestion would be for him to listen to the patient and explain things more clearly.

I saw Dr. Kimber before Christmas 2018 and he organised a couple of scans for me. I didn't get back to see him again before the 25th December, but so that I wasn't worrying about the results he wrote and copied me in on a letter to my GP. I felt that he had listened to my worries and addressed those and hopefully will have some more ideas (having discounted the initial worries) when I see him next time. I think that he was professional and friendly throughout my appointment.

I am writing on behalf of my mother who is 76 years old and suffering with Parkinson’s. I took her to ECH on Monday for a long awaited appt. her second with Dr Kimber and once again, she was given only 4 minutes of his time. He showed no interest in her care and she left feeling unsupported and totally let down. He changed her medication and showed no interest in improving her lifestyle or techniques/ advice to manage the illness. She asked a couple of questions during her short visit and got nothing back. There is no level of care from this Dr whatsoever.

I wanna say big thank you this Dr . He was really listening me all my symptoms and after straight away he understood all what's going on with me ! For sure after he requested me special blood test I wanna say Big thank you ! He knows what he us doing ! I really appreciate that!

What I want from any professional, is exactly that. Dr Kimber did not only address all my concerns but followed up all further emails immediately. Although I did see Dr Kimber privately, he processed my condition within the NHS without delay. Do I feel Dr Kimber has done all that he can for me and shown to have extensive knowledge of his professional, absolutely!
